Dawn Redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) is a fast-growing, majestic deciduous conifer known for its graceful, feathery foliage and attractive reddish-brown fall color. Despite its evergreen-like appearance during the growing season, it sheds its foliage in fall, creating beautiful seasonal interest.

Dawn Redwood is hardy in USDA Zones 4–8 and performs best in full sun with moist, well-drained soil. Its tall, pyramidal form makes it an excellent choice for large landscapes, specimen plantings, parks, and spacious yards.
